July 26, 2008. Are you interested in rowing but want to find out more before commiting to a class? Do you want to learn more about a sport that gives you both a great physical workout and a chance to meet other people? Would you like to spend a few hours on a Saturday on beautiful Lake Sammamish? If you answered yes to any of these questions, our "Row For a Day" class is for you!

What: Sammamish Rowing Association's new "Row For a Day" class: a 3-hour session that will teach participants the very basics of this sport. This session includes a land orientation, instruction on the ergs (rowing machines) and on-the-water experience and instruction!

Who: Anyone who is interested in learning to row! Adults and children 13-years and older are welcome to participate. This class is appropriate for absolute beginners. If you're curious about any of our beginning level rowing classes for adults (18-whatever!) or youth (13-18 yrs), this one-day class is a must!

When: Saturday, July 26th 9am-12pm

Cost: $35

Where: The Sammamish Rowing Association boathouse: 5022 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy, Redmond 98052.
