A sculling checkout is scheduled for all
new SRA members on Sunday, July 20th from 9:00-10:30am at the SRA
boathouse. No sign up necessary. Any SRA member, or anyone thinking
about becoming a member, who has not taken a checkout should plan
to attend!
Check out our new "Row For a Day"
class: a 3-hour session that will teach participants the very basics
of this sport. This session includes a land orientation, instruction
on the ergs (rowing machines) and on-the-water experience and instruction!

Congratulations to the SRA juniors on their success at the Northwest Regional Championship Regatta. SRA won the boys' varsity 8+
event for the first time in SRA history (video below)! In all, SRA brought home nine
first-place trophies and qualified eight entries for the Youth National Championships in June. Congratulations to
all of our juniors, and a big thank-you to all of the junior parents for your support and for your tremendous volunteer
efforts at regionals.
Congratulations to SRA juniors Kate Grimaldi and Becky Kinchen on their invitation to the Junior Women's National Team selection camp.
They were among only 49 athletes from across the nation invited to attend the camp.

SRA dedicated three new Vespoli 8's at the Green Lake Spring Regatta on March 15th.

Congratulations to the junior team and coaches on their outstanding performance at the Brentwood regatta.
In all, SRA qualified 30 entries for the finals resulting in eight gold, five silver, and three bronze medals.
Contributions from the boys, girls, novices, and experienced rowers gave SRA a total of 911
team points,
edging out Victoria City RC (895.5) and Green Lake RC (888). The complete regatta results are posted

on the Concept 2 website. If you don't already have one, you can
easily create an online log and select SRA as your club affiliation.
Watch your own meters and SRA's total meters accumulate and help
SRA climb to the top of the other rowing clubs. To get started,
